TOPIC: Let’s Talk About Neurodiversity  

Delivered by Michelle Shavdia, founder of Find Your Spark, ADHD coach and with a Masters in Coaching Psychology and Rhiann Marchant, founder of SENsational minds who was a SENCO and has a Masters in Education: Autism (Children) and is now a clinically trained autism assessor.

You will be part of a group of likeminded adults wanting to learn more about the lived experience and symptoms of ADHD and neurodivergent conditions.

This evidence-based ADHD awareness session will briefly cover:

  • Background to ADHD and neurodivergent conditions such as autism, dyspraxia, and sensory processing disorder.
  • Symptoms –challenges and strengths
  • Routes to diagnosis
  • Treatment/self-care including ADHD coaching.

During our autism session, you will learn more about autistic identity and discover more about what it means to have a diagnosis of autism. You will learn more about how sensory processing differences can impact a person with autism with practical suggestions on how to support these differences. You will also learn more about adaptations and support in the school environment.

You will be given supporting  materials on the day plus teas, coffees and biscuits.

There will be the opportunity to book in ADHD coaching with Michelle and be a part of an ongoing ADHD supportive community. You will be able to discuss autism assessments with Rhiann on the day.

Michelle Shavdia has ADHD and was diagnosed as an adult at 37 years old. She has appeared on numerous podcasts and her business Find Your Spark has been nominated for a Start Up Award for supporting clients in 2023.  She is qualified in Coaching Psychology which she uses to children, young people and adults with ADHD.

Rhiann Marchant is a specialist in autism and was a SENCO. She now is a qualified ADOS-2 Assessor Pearson Clinically Trained., 3Di clinically trained assessor and ACIA clinically trained assessor.
